Ceteris IT LLC (“Ceteris IT,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through ceterisit.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only — an actual engagement for IT support or compliance services is governed separately by our Master Services Agreement and the applicable Service Order, signed directly with your firm.
Information We Collect
Information you provide: when you submit our contact form, we collect your name, firm name, and email address, plus your phone number, approximate number of devices, and any message, if you choose to include them.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and general usage patterns — through Vercel Analytics, our hosting and analytics provider. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Verification data: we use Cloudflare Turnstile to help confirm that form submissions come from a person rather than automated software. Turnstile may process limited technical signals for this purpose and operates under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, schedule the consultation or assessment you requested, and communicate with you about our services. We also use limited technical data to keep this Site secure and working properly.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate this Site and respond to you: Resend, to deliver the contact form notification to our inbox; Cloudflare, for spam and bot prevention; and Vercel, for hosting and basic site analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ceteris IT, our clients, or others.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, and delete or anonymize them when no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted by emailing roger@ceterisit.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
